Saturday April 21st, 2012 is Record Store Day!  Naturally, we are celebrating it in a big way as always.  This year there are more releases than ever, and we’re bringing a mountain of them in (at the moment over 190 titles are on order).    There’s really something for everyone this year.  Take a look at the list posted below.  Due to the limited nature of these titles, it is not guaranteed that all the titles on the list will arrive, but cross your fingers!  If there is anything that you don’t see on the list, but want to see on RSD, let us know via-email!  No promises, but we can try to bring in what you want.

As always there will be no pre-ordering or holds on any of the titles for anybody (sorry! really!), and there will be a per-person-per-title limit on all RSD titles (to clarify, you can buy one of each RSD title, but you can’t buy 20 copies of any single title *ahem* scalpers/ebayers).  Some titles will be a limit of 1 per person all day (if they last that long), others increase through the day.

Bands!  Here is the list of bands playing at the shop on RSD.  Remember, the show will be free and all ages (as always).  These are some of our absolute favourite bands in Vancouver.  We wish we could jam even more on the bill, but there simply isn’t enough room.

Sale!  As always, we will be having a sale at the shop on RSD.  Check back soon for more info on that!

Titles that are confirmed to arrive will be highlighted in bold italic.  Most will not ship to us until right before RSD, so don’t panic if the title(s) you want aren’t confirmed yet!  In some cases stuff doesn’t show up until the day before (talk about making us sweat).
