Thursday May 29th at 5:00PM we’ll be hosting an early listening event for Foxwarren’s brand new album “2”.
“Hear the new Foxwarren album ‘2’ first at a local record store near you. Listening events begin on May 27th, with exclusive, limited-run zines and posters for attendees (while supplies last) and hand-stamped, white label vinyl to be contested.
To celebrate ‘2’ and to amplify the theme of cut and paste and collage that the recording process was built around, Foxwarren has curated a zine – also titled 2 – featuring art, photos, recipes, poetry, lyrics, collages and more. The zine features contributions from each band member as well as Tim Kasher, Nathaniel Russell, Winston Hacking, Helado Negro, Angela Lewis, Carson McHone, Sean Solomon, and more.”
How to get in:
Entry will be first come first served. We will get everyone to lineup outside the store prior to event start. Just before 5:00pm, we will let everyone into the shop, then start playing the album shortly after. The event is free and all ages (as always).
People always ask “when should I line up?” and the answer is…we don’t know! So far, we haven’t had to turn anyone away at any of the listening events, but arriving semi-early is still recommended to be safe.
