IMPORTANT UPDATE!
So…the album didn’t arrive in time. @purolatorinc has been absolutely brutal late with everything lately. The only reason we were doing this as a midnight release was so you could pick up the record at the time of the event instead of having to come back a second time the next day as this specific event we are not allowed to sell the album at the event unless it’s midnight. Different artists / managers / labels do things different ways, and this was the deal with this one.
Anyways, I’ll still be here tonight for the event, and anyone who pre-pays for the vinyl will still receive the tote bag (while supplies last), and we’ll still have posters and lanyards for everyone while supplies last. We will still raffle off the t-shirts. Everything is the same except you don’t get to walk home with the record tonight, which is a bummer.
Thursday February 26th at 11:30PM we’ll be hosting a midnight release/listening party for the brand-new Bruno Mars album “The Romantic”.
The first people through the doors will receive a free poster and laminate/lanyard, and the first handful of purchases of “The Romantic” will receive a Bruno Mars tote bag. We will also be raffling off THREE Bruno Mars t-shirt (don’t mind the wrinkles) to three lucky winners!!
How to get in:
Entry will be first come first served. We will get everyone to lineup outside the store prior to event start. At 11:30pm, we will let everyone into the shop, then start playing the album at midnight. The event is free and all ages (as always). The album will be for sale at the event.
People always ask “when should I line up?” and the answer is…we don’t know! So far, we have only had to turn people away from one of our listening events, but arriving semi-early is still recommended to be safe. We never know how many goodies we are getting until right before the event, so if that’s what you’re after, early arrival is encouraged!
